Identity in the net

When one can easily cloak himself and can easily hide his true face, it is inevitable for human nature to commit actions that are contrary to the rules laid down by society. It is the psychology of human action that if one can get away with "it' then doing "it" is just fine... To prove this point, the internet or the world wide web is the very place where ones identity can simply disappear, this seeming anarchy is what i believe fuels this constant fascination wit the the internet. Cybercrimes become easy crimes simply because 12 year old kids can get away with it. In the net, age is never a factor because there is no way to actually verify the users actual identity, everything can be faked, duplicated or simply changed. Until a surefire way is designed to actually recognize a net users identity, laws can not have the teeth to actually enforce its mandate to punish offenders.
