Anti Cybersex Crime Law

In order to curb the proliferation of cybersex crimes, Marikina Representative Marcelino Teodoro proposed that an anti cybersex crime law be enacted.

Law enforcers usually charge cybersex operators with Republic Act 9208 or the Human Trafficking Act. However, these laws are not enough to cover all instances of cybersex crimes. Though it would be good to have an anti cybersex crimes law, drafters must ensure that this law would be flexible enough to adapt to technological developments. Otherwise, the cybercreeps will always be one step ahead.
