Timing is Everything

A new months brings with it new things. For most students, the month of August marks the middle of the semester. For others, it marks the beginning of preparations for the “-ber” months, ushering in the Christmas season. For bargain hunters, August is the best time to buy laptops.

In the US, August is touted to be the best time to buy laptops, as manufacturers try to entice students who are coming back to school with the best deals possible. On the average, the prices of laptops around this time become cheaper by 15%.

Don’t have enough money to get one yet? Another month to look out for would be April, as this is the time when most manufacturers release their new models. This means that the older models sell at a cheaper price, in an effort to clear out these models and usher in the new ones.

Interestingly enough, the worst time to buy laptops would be during November, as manufacturers take into consideration the upcoming Christmas season, where many people consider giving laptops as Christmas presents for their loved ones.
