Kung Hei Fat Choi!

According to the lunar calendar, this year is the year of the Rabbit. However, according to a text message I got at the opening of this love month, this year also marks the beginning of a new texting era: while we say goodbye to the jejemons, this year we say hi and welcome the “BEBEMONS!”

According to the text message while a jejemon goes: “hE!LoWz b@be kOh! kHumAeen khnb? Hwaagz khaw pag2hom, oKayz?..”. a bebemon, on the other hand, goes: “elow bebe toh, tain na taw? Hwad kaw tutom tutom ah, otei.”

Hahaha

I just wonder how much effort these people put into coming up with such messages and sending them through mass text messaging. I remember a time, I think that was sometime in 2008-2009, when it was about the adventures of Inday that was going around. Another time it was about a certain Ederlyn, and another some wiity (and sure to fail) pick-up lines.

Do people actually get hired to come up with these? I wonder.
