Stumbling upon stumbleupon.com

StumbleUpon.com is a website where you can, well, stumble upon some interesting websites. It caters to all types of people who need to take a break from their tedious computer works. It has a powerful logical scheme that can determine the websites that may interest you, be them topics in geeky rocket science or the latest fashion trends.

Upon registration, it will present several topics after the usual create-username-and-password process. Tick on all the boxes that appeal to you. Click on "Stumble" and it will direct you to an interesting website based on your choices. Here are some that I stumbled upon:

It's amazing how much you can pick up from the internet-- from the important to the useless, from the glamorous to the mundane. With the unfathomable amount of information in the net, we have a tendency to run out of choices. We usually end up going to the same website each and every time. In my case, I usually go to facebook.com, gmail.com and mail.yahoo.com. After that, I end up just staring at my Facebook newspage, waiting for something interesting to pop up. However, with stumbleupon.com, someone else will pick the website for you, matching it to your pre-assigned interests. It gives a whole new meaning to surfing the web. You literally have to simply click the button, and the website will do the surfing for you while you sit back and enjoy all the interesting sites that pop up.
