Every Saturday night of September, BarOps invites professors to give last minute pointers and tips to the candidates for the next day's exams. Usually, the professors are invited to visit the hotel headquarters of BarOps and hold a brief lecture in a function room there.
The problem is, not everyone taking the bar is billeted in the hotel headquarters. Some of our bar candidates stay in other hotels, and some don't even stay in hotels at all, and it has always been a problem getting materials to those who aren't in the hotel.
Which is why we're trying something different this year. Starting with these Saturday lectures.
We plan to make the content of these lectures and forums available online and via live streaming. Sounds simple? More like easier said than done.
