So what if there are countless resources on the internet waiting to be mined and turned into valuable input for a paper when your internet connection is as slow as the slowest turtle!
We went to the Ateneo de Manila University Rizal Library to do some research for our SLR paper. It’s a new building, looks modern and everything. There are now more computers, they probably have six per section of the library, excluding those in the “information commons” section (such a cool term hehe).
We didn’t have our USB’s. BIG mistake. We thought we could just access the on-campus-use-only online journals, download and then save them on our email. But that remained a thought. We spent 2/3 of our time there downloading and attaching the files!
The internet may have all the information we are looking for, it’s a tool in itself, but we need other tools to have better access to the information and to make it useful to us. Maybe there should just be a law that would set a minimum speed of internet connection. I hope that’s possible, Lord please make it possible.
