I believe these data show the more common hobbies (or priorities) that occupy a Filipino’s time. As expected, entertainment, social networking and music took the center stage. The romantic people that we are, “love”, “you” and “quotes” also made it to the list. And what’s quite unexpected? That mail will come in at the 10th place. I guess this shows that in the mix of business and pleasure, business would have to take the back seat.

As to the most popular passwords list, it shows the general aversion of people to unfamiliarity and their natural inclination to order. If applied to our case as Filipinos, it would be a good coping mechanism for our selective amnesia, that is, to hold on to general truths or common knowledge and let go of the undue mental effort that we have to exert in the realm of passwords.

It’s funny now how these supposedly private things are made public without us knowing about it.
