My friend who works for Globe introduced me to G-cash a couple of years back but I just didn't get the point. The fact that they had a service charge for cash in and cash out transactons brought out the tyani in me - even if it was a minimal amount. I just couldn't see the incentive. Immediately, I knew I had found the meaning of G-cash in my life. :) While the use of G-cash is not mandatory to reserve the seats, there is a discount offered if you pay for the seats via G-cash in advance. Also, the process seems pointless if you just reserve, since they require you to be there around 45 minutes before the show starts. Its really the convenience of being able to purchase tickets online that makes me willing to pay extra. I realize that its not really the reservation that you are charged for but the conversion from cash to G-cash and vice-versa. Right now the only stumbling block is that it is still a bit tedious to convert. Once they sync the conversion with bpiexpressonline then we're really in business.
